The meeting “The Iberian Peninsula between the 5th and 10th centuries: continuity, transition and change” is organized by the History Section of the Association of Portuguese Archaeologists and now has the support of CITCEM. This event will take place on March 21 and 22, 2019, at the Museu Arqueológico do Carmo, in Lisbon, and aims to present the latest archaeological data and discuss the problem of continuity, transition and change in this long period between Late Antiquity and the High Middle Ages in the Iberian Peninsula. Some of the issues to be addressed and debated are migration and demography, economics, politics and religion.
