An initiative of the committee promoting the celebrations of the centenary of Eugénio de Andrade’s birth (made up of Carlos Mendes de Sousa, Federico Bertolazzi, Joana Matos Frias and José Tolentino Mendonça), this congress will be attended by numerous specialists in Eugénio de Andrade’s work from various countries.

On October 11, the first day of the congress will take place at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and will open with a round table of poets featuring António Franco Alexandre, Tatiana Faia, Andreia C. Faria, Rui Lage and Elisabete Marques, and a conference given by Rosa Martelo.

On the following days, October 12 and 13, the work will take place at the National Library of Portugal. The sessions take place in person, with free admission, and will also be streamed.
