The theme of this 1st International Meeting is “History and Heritage Education: from Local to Global”. In Viana do Castelo, the bridges and the encounter between the Lima River and the Atlantic Ocean invite reflection on the importance of our Cultural Heritage and how to communicate and reflect on it. Society is increasingly demanding in the way it questions researchers and, for this reason, whether in schools, tourism or heritage education services, we need to think about the importance of our cultural heritage.
